Quality Unit was established on August 2, 2002, an it is not fully operated yet during that time. However, due to increasing demand from the secretariat coordinator, the director has allocated one staff nurse(U29) and a full-time Administrative Assistant(N17) starting February 10, 2004.

Quality Unit acts as coordinator for the Corporate Secretary. Apart from that, the unit is also helping all the committees in conducting their activities towards achieving the Mission and Vision of Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah, Muar. This unit can also be a reference point for all members of the hospital in terms of act, Clinical Practise Guidelines, quality procedures , Quality Manual and all info regarding quality activity information can be found here.

2. To implement and standardize the activities of the Corporate Secretary to ensure the quality of health services.

3. To assist hospital staff in providing the latest information.

4. To become referral and learning center for all hospital staff.

Implementing and organizing HPSF quality activities in assuring Health Quality Services and Patients Treatment/Public are based on the Standard guidelines by quality assurance, clinical governance, accreditation, clinical audit, peer review and etc.
