Information
Ibadah Friendly Hospital was launched on August 21, 2010 at the state level held
at KSKB , Johor.
Projects under Islamic Affairs Unit, Ibadah Friendly Hospital are to facilitate and help patients in ward to do their ibadah.
For example:
- Qiblah
- Water bottle for wudhu
- Tayammum dust
- Islamic reading material
- Prayers hall which located near the medical and surgical wards (open in July 2011)
Objective
Objective
- To educate about the method of ibadah during sick time.
- To clarify issues and problems related to patient ibadah.
- To enhance staff skills in handling and addressing problem HPSF patients.
- To enhance the knowledge about medical fiqh.
- To create an ibadah friendly atmosphere in HPSF for patients.
- To trained staff nurses with TOT courses (Training of Trainers) with the knowledge of the wudhu 'and Taymum for patients in order to help the patient to pray.
Activities
Activities are carried out are:
- Morning Du'a every day at the Customer Service Room
- Announcement on prayers time
- Provide tayammum kit at every ward in HPSF.
- The equipments are as follows: bottles spray, dust Taymum and Islamic reading material
- Provide continuos Training of Trainers to HPSF staff.
- Provide prayer hall near the Medical & Surgical block for easier reach to patients .
- Visit patients to selected wards every week, Thursday at 4:00pm - 5:00 pm.
