The department has several zones of the Critical Zone (red), Semi-Critical (Yellow) and Not Critical (green) in line with the services provided.

After Office Clinic in HPSF began in June 2008. By December 2008, After Office Clinic HPSF received by 9158 patients. In 2009 the number of patient had increased to 22,120 people.
(B) Receiving, screening and coordinate emergency calls to a specific medical team at the request of an emergency.
(C) Control and monitor the movement of ambulances in the North Zone which includes Batu Pahat, Segamat, Ledang and Muar Community Clinic as well.
(D) Prepare monthly statistics to JKNJ, and Ministry of Health(Medical Development).
(B) Manage and conduct the autopsy the body of the case "Medico Legal", Coronal, or for the purpose of medical research.
(C) To take and send specimens to the lab for the case of "Medico Legal"
(D) Submit specimens to the police if the demand for laboratory tests from the police.

Information
Emergency and Trauma department serves as a “frontline” department of Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital. This department is located adjacent to Oral surgery Department.
With the recommendations of Ministry of Health, Malaysia to reduce waiting time at the Outpatient Clinic and Emergency Department, After Office Clinic was established to provide care to patients who come after office hours or on holidays at other designated locations. Therefore, patients who are not in “serious” condition and does not need to seek treatment in the Emergency & Trauma department.
The clinic was established by using the existing facilities at the orthopaedic clinic since November 2007, and now it has been transferred to other location at Lorong Wawasan.
Members involved are senior medical officer, two paramedics, staff nurses and two health care assistants who are interested to work overtime.

We promise:
1. To provide appropriate treatment according to the colour code as follows:
* Red (E1): Provide immediate treatment for cases of severe injury, chest pain, sudden cardiac and other critical cases (about 5 minutes).
* Yellow (E2): Received partial treatment of critical cases that require treatment within 30-60 minutes.
* Green (N3): Cases that are not critical and can be seen within 1hr -2 hours.

* After Office Clinic
After Office Clinic was an outpatient clinic that provides medical services and treatment to patients who come to the Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimahl for treatment after office hours. These cases are categorized in the "Not Critical" will be treated at clinics after office hours (8.00 pm to 12.00 pm on normal working days and 9.00 am to 12.00 pm on holidays).
After Office Clinic was set inline with recommendations from the Ministry of Health to reduce waiting time (less than 30 minutes) to patients who received treatment in hospital government.
* Coordinating Center for Emergency Treatment
(A) Ambulance Call Centre for accidents and medical emergency cases. It also serves as Hub for North Johor state and its call Coordination Centre of Emergency Treatment.
* Forensic Unit:
These unit is under the supervision of Department of Emergency & Trauma and it consist of Assistant Medical Officer(U36) and a Health Care Assistants(U14). This unit serves by :
(A) Receiving, storing the body from the ward, Department of Emergency and Trauma and deliver the corpse to his heirs for burial.
